The Attribution gadget is the gadget in the footer that says "Powered By Blogger". If you have tried to remove this then you may of noticed this gadget is locked into you blog. To unlock it, follow the next steps:
Step 1. Log in to your Dashboard, go to Template > Edit HTML
Step 2. Click anywhere inside the code area and press the CTRL + F keys to open the Blogger' search box
Step 3. Type or paste the following tag inside the search box then hit Enter to find it:
And this is how you can remove the blogger attribution gadget.

ReplyDeletethats the same thing that happened to me so to all readers out there a of august of 2012 this method is not working it will allow you to delete it but then you wont be able to save it ending up with this the attribute there

I tried it again: delete code, IMMEDIATELY delete Attribution gadget from blog, save, refresh. That worked. However, the immovable "Attribution" box is still present in my Layout screen. So far, it doesn't show up on my blog, just the Layout editor. Go Blogger, eh?

It will hide it from your blog. Hope this help.

Search the code with the value changed - open a Notepad and paste the code from step 3 and replace "true" with "false", then go back to Template/Edit HTML and search for the code modified from your notepad! After you found it, change "false" with "true" back. Hope it helps.
